The Gospels DJ's mission is to serve God, play inspirational music and promote Gospel & Christian artists. In the Mix with The Gospels DJ is dedicated to reaching the youth and young adults by playing diverse types of Gospel and Christian music. You'll hear an assortment of positive tunes that are an alternative to mainstream music, which includes; Urban/Contemporary Gospel, Gospel Hip Hop, Christian Rock, Christian Rap, Gospel Neo-Soul and more! In addition, you will be kept in the mix with the latest Gospel/Christian events, concerts, and interviews of local and national artists.

The Gospels DJ a.k.a as Gabriel Newhouse, was born and raised in Longview, Texas. Gabriel has been a professional disc jockey for several years. He has a B.A. in Communications with a discipline in Advertising and a minor in Music/Business from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has had the opportunity to DJ for a grammy nominated Gospel artist, he won a DJ of the year award at Dallas' very own Holy Hip Hop Convertcation, and had the privilege of DJ-ing at internationally known churches as the Potter's House and Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship where he and his wife are members.
He is very skilled at making customized cd playlists where the happy couples can select their favorite songs to use as party favors to distribute to guests. The Gospels DJ also is very knowledgeable at "trackblending" which is the ability to edit, blend and mix several songs down to one track and allow a simple click of the play button to play your selected songs nonstop.
Ministry
Gabriel is also passionate about ministering to youth across cultures and denominations through all types of Gospel and Christian music. He lives by the scripture, 1 Corinthians 9:22:"...I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some."
